Jonathan's cake weekend!

So we went to the museum for his birthday last time he visited, but we didn't have time then for the cake thing. This weekend we did the cake part of the celebration. Stetching out the birthday festivities didn't seem to phase him though. I think he actually kind of liked it!

This week I turned 15 weeks!!

Super cute outfit! It says Mommy's Little Guy. I had to be sure and put it on here so Naomi can see the Moosey on the matching bib!!

Jansen is starting to grow out of his 0-3 month things (depending on the brand) so I had to get a pic of this onsie before it doesn't fit! Too cute, even with the Einstein hair-do!

This is one of our super cute Jack Sparrow outfits!! Great-great Aunt Linda didn't know that we called Jansen "Little Jack Sparrow" before we picked a name. During our 20 week ultrasound he seemed like he was sneering an "AARRGGHH" at us when we got a face shot. Then between Daddy's Carribean background and the expression we got our little Jack Sparrow pirate!! Funny coincidence when we got this outfit at the shower from Auntie Linda then!!

Cody

No family blog would be complete without the canine son getting his moment!! Cody is ALWAYS trying to have a bite of whatever we might be eating. Here we have sweet pickled jalepenos. They do still have a little heat, Richard would say very little, but I guess enough for the Codester. He so badly wants some, yet just can't make himself take a bite!!

My computer isn't playing the sound, so I hope it comes through for you all! It was the absolute opposite of when we posted the YouTube video of his smile. He started out cooing and smiling, then tired of it so at least the good stuff is first!

For Jonathan's birthday we went to the Cowboy Museum. It was Jansen's first outing and we were so glad that he was able to get out in time for his big brother's birthday!

Jansen arrived: August 7th at 6:58 am.
Water broke on the 31st of July, but we managed to keep him in there until August 7th!! I had to stay in the hospital until we were ready to induce, but it all worked out in the end after the jaundice passed! Jansen is now 3 months old and he is adored by each of us. Even his big brother who wasn't sure about having him at first!!

Just testing it out

Hey everybody!! I'm just testing this out to see if it all works!! I've never done this before, so bear with me as I get this started!! I'm going to try to update weekly if not more so mark this as a favorite and check back regularly... hopefully this way I can keep everyone posted that wants to be kept updated and I'll stop pestering those of you that simply want to check in now and again!! I promise I will do my best to keep up with this, if I slack... just give me a quick chastising note and I'll get back on track!!
