October Fun 2011

Other than Halloween we did have some fun in October!
Just us all being silly together.
Favorite after school activity for that month = football!
Mama had to be prepared for those wild throws. Actually, he wouldn't throw them at all to me for a while if I didn't wear the helmet!
Showing me the proper way to wear said helmet later on!
Frustrated with Mommy's lack of athletic prowess, he hopped on the "tractor" to pretend taking a spin!
Showing off some big 'ol feet!

When Austin came over to visit we refused to feed him so he had to lick the remains of dinner off the counter! Haha! Just kidding! This is actually after I baked him a WHOLE cake and the glaze ran over the sides... not to waste it, of course, he had to get the very last of it up! :oD

Jonathan Drives!

... his Go Kart that is!

Gooooo Packers!!!!!!!

Spent the super bowl with Kristyn, James, and Jimmy! We "Packed Up" the boys!! :oD

Belly Buttons

While delighting in these two adorable bellies, you should also hear the song that has become a nightly "must" in our house. Click on this link for Alastair Moock's Belly Buttons: jitterbug: music for hip kids

Random Winter Fun

I'm just going to lump these all in one post since I'm sooooooo behind and give little descriptions with each!
This is how we babysit in our house! Haha! Just kidding... The boys are STILL obsessed with shutting themselves in Cody's cage! Easy day for the mommies this way!
Daddy wanted to try and test his strength and manliness against the ice, snow, and wind of the February Freeze we had this year. Rawr... look at that tough guy out in that bluster!
We got a shot of the "real" reaction out there too. It didn't take long to reach this point! Hee-hee!

Jansen and his best buddy Cody. Notice the enthusiasm with Cody endures his playful pal! Such tolerance!

Daddy and Jansen in the wind with the flag whipping at them.
Jansen flips his toes around like Pu-Pop! Tee-Hee!
Ninja Jimmy!!
Slide time!
Adjustment. After sliding into the baskets and table with his feet, our little engineer had to do some rearranging.
Jansen likes the spacey fiber optic light!

Super Jansen in his crime fighting uniform. I know that you are all feeling so much safer now that you know he is on duty and fully outfitted!
Juiiiiiice! I'll share.
Juicy smiles. Jansen shared! :o)
Jonathan got up from his video chair for a second only to have his little brother slide on into his place with determination not to move out of it.
He also did the same to Daddy shortly after, this time taking the PS3 controller as well! Sneaky, sneaky!

Wildcats Game

Daddy and I took Jansen to a hockey game after Christmas.

He seemed to really have a good time, though he wouldn't take off his coat. I guess seeing the ice made him extra chilly!

He also really liked the folding seats. He had to have one all to himself even though he was so light it folded HIM too!

Christmas 2010... The Continuation

We didn't end up taking a whole lot of photos at Christmas this time. We mostly did short videos, so I'll post those when I've had a chance to go through them. Here's the pics though:
Richard said something to me like. "Babes, I think our packages were just delivered by a golf cart." (or something to that effect since it was a while ago.)
Sure enough he had to grab the camera and run out to try and catch a couple of pictures of the loaded down "delivery truck" on Christmas Eve that was delivering packages. I guess they got a little bogged down with last minute deliveries this year! Haha!
Jansen thought he needed a helmet to tackle the mound of presents he got this year, I guess!
Olga spoiled Jansen with his first tricycle at Christmas!
Look at that stash... and the sheer delight of the recipient!
You can see that Jonathan is IN FRONT of his pile that stacks over his head! Again... he looks so bummed out to have so many gifts to open, doesn't he? Haha!

Jansen opened his pillow pet from Auntie Baby just in time! He needed a rest from all that unwrapping work he had been doing!

Fantasy of Lights 2010

This year for the Fantasy of Lights trip it was just Olga, Jansen, and I. It was a really cool trip and we all had fun... and cocoa!
Jansen by the presents.
Watching the lights to music show... with the delicious cocoa!
Intent on light show. I think he was trying to figure out how they worked with the music like that. We'll see this year if he got it down and can do ours that way!
I took the two shiniest bulbs on the tree with me!
All three of us!
Mama dancin' with Jansen in the lighted Gazebo...
Boy, it was FUN!!!
Then it was too tiring to walk anymore without a break.
Sooooo many lights! What a night! Definitely worth the drive.

Phone Videos

This is a Halloween Fest that Kristyn and I took Jansen and Jimmy to. As you can see, Jansen is quite the ham... when he isn't in front of a crowd. When the place was packed I had to drag him up there WITH me to get a treat, but as soon as the crowd cleared he was all about being on the stage!

Just some fun shortly after Halloween. Jansen liked to "tease-share" his food and he said Punkin soooo cute this Halloween!

The all time favorite Dance Video of Jansen to date.... in March while we were reviewing music for the wedding, Jansen was practicing his moves too!
