There's plenty of 'food' postings this time, but it seems that it is quite an exciting part of our lives at the moment! This week for Lent we had quite a schiorgasboard! It was green peas, stuffing, and baked beans. Jansen LOVED every morsel on MY plate! That seems to be the only way he eats now-a-days... eating what's on mine or Daddy's plate even if it's exactly the same thing that is on his! He likes to grab our utensils too, he has little patience anymore with those rounded, dull plastic tools! Looks like we might need to upgrade some of his stuff now. Meals are still a messy experience, but he is exploring and learning textures, fine motor skills, and likes/dislikes, hot/cold, etc. Daddy is soooo not a fan of the messy mealtimes so we do our exploring meals when he isn't eating with us. We eat much tidier when he has to watch too! He's going to see our secret when he peeks at the blog though! Hee-hee!
Truly I didn't get to eat much of anything, except those peas and the left over peaches on HIS plate! He ate all of the food on mine and the 'good' stuff on his own!
