We started the day at the Science Museum and then rode the Sky Train to Canada Place where there were a bunch of street vendors set up with carnival type food, business booths, and the like. Canada Place is where the cruise ships come in and out in Vancouver. The festival went for blocks and was divided into sections. Each of the sections had a stage with live music set ups. There was a kids section that had jumpy houses, but Jonathan was too big and Jansen was too small so we just walked through that area.
We didn't get pics at the Science Museum, but I'm not sure why. I thought we were getting them but it appears we have none so I guess we didn't after all. Sorry. I do know there were some vids on the video camera, including me screaming in the scream booth. Apparently they measure the volume of your scream and the previous "record" was in the yellow. I went two into the red so I guess I won! WaHoo!! Proof that I'm a loud mouth Richard will say! Anyway, Pictures here start with the Sky Train then. It is like a subway system, but it's overhead instead. Pretty fun!
Jansen and I on Sky Train.
Jonathan standing outside the new Canada Place Convention Center. It's really cool. It is designed to look like a ship and has grass planted on it in some areas!
